Interview with

First goes first: Liv, tell us a bit about yourself please.
My name is Liv. I'm a teenager who's always been interested in art, and I discovered digital art a little while ago. I've been playing around with it and decided to try using the stock here on dA.
What do you think about the dA community so far?
I haven't been very involved in the community, but from what I can tell, it seems like a great place for beginning, intermediate, and advanced artists.
What do you like about photomanipulations?
I like trying to manipulate photos of models into different settings to give it a more fantastical theme. Photo manipulations are really fun for me to play around with, and I love seeing other people's creations. I think there's a lot of creativity in photo manipulations.
Your works often have a foggy, mysterious theme. What attracts you to this kind of art?
I value a lot of subtlety in artwork because I think it's much more attractive than everything being bold and defined. I also try to make my works mysterious because I like that side of fantasy.
What do you admire most if you look at other photomanipulator's artworks?
I love photo manipulations that imply dark or fantastical themes, but are not obvious about it. I especially like when photo manipulators give the model a new setting and change the effects to fit that setting.
What are your future plans with your artworks?
Nothing professional, I'd just like to continue improving as I keep experimenting.
What kind of things would you like to know more about in photomanipulation?
I'd like to know how to use programs like photoshop and gimp more efficiently and working on my blending techniques.
And now of course a feature for everybody to enjoy:
